Facility Rental Agreement
The renter must agree to abide by all provisions. Some of the key points are outlined below.
Rental fees are based on the space requested and vary by Center. Note: No rental fee will be charged to any Milwaukee County Department or any County Department official that schedules an event or meeting at the Senior Centers SOA manages.
No Admittance Fee
Serving Older Adults does not allow money to be collected at the door of any rental for “public events.” Rentals are for private events only. If admission is being charged, or any type of sales, fund raising, or vending will take place during the rental period, the Renter must obtain a sales permit from the State of Wisconsin Department of Revenue and submit a copy of the sales permit to the Senior Center Director.
Payment in full is required upon verification of rental. Acceptable payments include MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and Visa. You may also make payments in person during open hours with cash, check, money order or credit card. If paying by check, payment must be submitted at least 2 weeks prior to the rental date. Decorating, catering, setup, and cleanup must be completed within your rental time. If you wish to add extra hours to your rental, it must be done at least 15 days prior to your rental date. No additional hours can be purchased on the day of the event. If your event goes longer than the end time stated in the contract, you will be invoiced at double the hourly rate for every half (1/2) hour past the rental time. Note: The Renter(s) is responsible for damages to equipment and/or facilities and will be charged for replacement and repair costs.
